"Big-store prices, small-town service."

Medina Lumber and Hardware LLC. is a locally-owned and operated independent lumber yard since 2009. It was purchased by a local contractor, Tom Snyder and his father Warren Snyder when they got word that the former Somerset Lumber was closing. Being a local person, Tom hated the thought of having to drive 22 miles to Lockport or Batavia for building materials, and the fact that the money wasn't even going back into his community made the decision that much easier. The property which is rich with history has been the previous home of Somerset Lumber, Maine Lumber, O'Donnel Brothers Lumber, Inc., and the Medina Union Mills (flour and feed). Everyone at Medina Lumber and Hardware takes great pride in offering friendly service that the "Big Box Stores" does not provide. Whether you are a professional contractor or a do-it-yourselfer, our staff will take that "Extra Step" to provide the kind of service that you can expect from a business that truly cares about you.
We encourage you to "Put Your Money Where Your Home Is," by shopping locally. When you shop local, the revenue remains in your community, supporting parks, schools, and more. We realize it is not always possible to buy what you need locally and so we merely ask to "Think Local First"!!!
We look forward to being part of your next building or remodeling project and remember that you, too, can "buy where the builders buy."
